The course is reporting on the gendered perspectives of environmental issues with the aim of teaching female journalists to report on environmental issues, specifically, biodiversity, climate change and pollution, discussing whether the gender lens was used or not, and how it was used to create an impact. The practical program translates into articles produced by female journalists.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. Ability to analyze news items on environmental issues and identify the existing gaps
  2. Identify environmental issues and report on them through the gender lens
  3. The Importance impact of gender reporting on environmental issues
  4. Identifying gender reporting in two roles: women as practitioners and consumers of media
