You’ll gain insights on how to write stories that contextualise the African Green Stimulus Programme, as advocated by the United Nations Environmental Programme.
Over the course of 4 modules and 5 short assessment quizzes, you will emerge a solutions-focused journalist, able to provide rigorous, evidence-based reporting on responses to social problems.
Learning Outcomes:

- Module 1Upon completion of this module, the journalist will be able to understand and explain in their own words what solutions journalism is, what it isn’t, and why it is important, and why it is an approach for reporting any and every beat.1

- Module 3Upon completion of this module, learners will have a deeper understanding of solutions journalism approaches, and two ready-for-use, short, template guides for main reporting media formats: audio/video and print1
- Module 4Upon completion of this module, learners will have the ability to conceptualise solutions journalism approaches from a UNEP-AGSP lens and the ability to achieve Environmental/AGSP-aligned solutions journalism stories .1
